Aces is a color encoding system developed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Aces Lite is a color grading workflow that uses part of the Aces system. Aces and Aces Lite are two different things. Aces Lite workflow is developed by me and I'm not associated with the Academy.
